McFarland Creek Outdoors
McFarland Creek Outdoors is a Whitetail Deer and Turkey hunting preserve located along the Tennessee and Kentucky border. Guests schedule three-day hunts and stay in lodging on the McFarland Creek Outdoors reserve.
The area that has become a hunting reserve was a talked-about spot for whitetail and turkey hunters for decades. Trophy white tail deer have been harvested here for decades, and they’re still around today. As owner Shane Smith says, they’re “bigger and better” than ever. Hunts are conducted by reservation only. McFarland Creek’s manager is Jeff Hatcher, an experienced hunter and guide who has arranged dozens of hunts over the years. Jeff’s wife, Amanda, joins him in preparing hardy meals for the reserve’s guests. It’s the Hatchers’ goal to ensure that the experience is comfortable, memorable and successful – and that every hunter leaves with the trophy of his or her dreams.
